More Specifically, a Datsun Go. My friend sent me this picture, and i ask him "What did i supposed to do with it?"
He then replied "You just plug something to the aux jack and play a song with it, and that's about it. The USB is only providing the electric charge and doesn't do a thing. So if you forgot to bring a phone, you'll be bored to death."
Seriously, this datsun thing is...terrible. I need to drive it.

taking minimalism a bit overboard.

I could swear my grandmother's voyage has a head unit like that. (Well, it isn't)

I was almost sure it was a Ford Fiesta.

I have to say Voyager is quite a good name for a car.

I see nothing wrong with this. Imagine if you live in an area where radios tend to disappear thru broken windows. Yea it sucks you dont get radio but you can do that thru a phone/internet today. Pandora and all that stuff is operated thru a phone too. Really all it needs are the inputs, not even the volume.

Yep. Or Nissan just being cheapskate.

If you ignore the A/C schtuff, it looks like a robot clown smoking a pipe.

I like this. But maybe that's just me being a fan of minimalism.

Hope you like your air cold, or cold.

Well, the problem is Indonesia has the second slowest internet in Asia. So Streaming is pretty much out of option..

Isn't the Go that super unsafe car?

I want one of these. No flashy screen, no bullshit. Power, volume, and inputs.
![]() 12/26/2014 at 16:16 |

ok yea that makes a big difference. 2nd worst, so who takes the gold? North Korean? I hear theirs is pretty bad.
![]() 12/26/2014 at 16:17 |

That is all I use my radio for, so I kind of like it. Who wants to steal that? Plus it's probably super light.

Was it fantastic?

I'm all for minimalist design, but yikes
![]() 12/26/2014 at 16:21 |

Well, I mean, the car does cost like $6800, at that price, the fact that there's any sort of stereo at all is kind of a bonus. Plus, it looks very easy to remove and replace with an aftermarket unit, unlike most modern radios that are really integrated into the dash.
![]() 12/26/2014 at 16:23 |

NO RADIO FOR YOU, THIS 2014.
![]() 12/26/2014 at 16:29 |

Exactly. Look at all the lightness they added! Why waste weight on stuff we don't want?
![]() 12/26/2014 at 16:39 |

There's something to be said for simplicity.
Now if only TV manufacturers would stop making all this "Smart TV" crap and actually produce just a regular TV that doesn't do anything but take inputs from something else.
![]() 12/26/2014 at 16:49 |

Right? All the simple TV's seem to have one or two RCA cable inputs and 2, maybe 3 HDMI's. That's not enough, man. We need more. Old TV's used to have lots of inputs.
I have a 32" Samsung 720p TV - 1 set of RCA inputs, 2 HDMI's.
Connected to it: N64, Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Blu-Ray Player, Roku Streaming Stick, occasionally a laptop.
How to make it work: Blu-Ray player and 360 share a passive HDMI splitter running in reverse. Roku takes the other HDMI. The rest of the consoles go through a multi-port RCA switch and then to the TV. Blu-Ray/360 cable gets unplugged to plug in laptop HDMI.

By modern standards, yes.
![]() 12/26/2014 at 17:02 |

It's not even just a lack of inputs - it's all the other garbage that they try to ram down our throats. Yes, having Netflix directly on your TV is cool, but having a TV that never gets updates after 2 or 3 years, making it an obsolete relic despite functioning perfectly fine is not cool. That, and some of the crap that companies of pulled - like LG. They had a smart TV that was basically trying to read off everything it had access to on your local network, and would send the filenames back to LG. It did this without being asked to. It was basically spying on anyone who plugged it in. And in order to even use the stupid thing you'd have to agree to an End User License Agreement. As far as I'm concerned - I'll never purchase a TV that requires me to agree to an EULA.

Yeees, and Window by Power! In 2014!
*Or normal people said no power window.

You know what? I'm ok with this. I even kind of like it. Yes, it's ugly, but completely functional for anything I might want to do. The only reason I listen to the radio at all anymore is because I don't have a way to plug in my iPod, and I generally despise everything they play. I wish they would go this minimalist route with more things, but I'm sure some health and safety idiot somewhere would have a heart attack and give us a lecture. Give me a car with one or two seats, a decent engine, a radio, and something to keep me tied in, in case something goes wrong. That's all anyone needs. Well, that, and a good dose of common sense, but they don't make that anymore.
![]() 12/26/2014 at 17:24 |

Oh, and an A/C and heater. Those could be options though.

The minivan was the only vehicle named Voyager here in Canada, so there's probably others named that in other markets. Voyager isn't a bad name. It kind of suits a minivan.
